The foundation
Grow and care for the seedlings, develop cultivation knowledge and build the foundations for future harvests.
The starting point is the 20 acre project in Nakong, supported by technical knowledge and seedling assistance from the Global Shea Alliance.
Local capacity
Progress the factory plans and worker accommodation, alongside the infrastructure and operating arrangements the site needs.
The first commercial direction is semi processed shea ingredients for manufacturers, initially targeting Western Europe. Processing plans, supply arrangements and buyer qualification need to develop together.
More value locally
Develop a range of shea products for African markets as the business builds capability.
This phase depends on established processing, product development, the relevant approvals and a sound commercial foundation.
A place to connect
Introduce guest houses later, as the project and the surrounding opportunity mature.
Guest accommodation is a longer term ambition. Worker housing sits within the factory development plans and serves a separate purpose.
Responsible growth
Each phase will depend on plant establishment, infrastructure, approvals, financing and commercial readiness. The company will publish progress as milestones are reached.
